Outside Evidence of Academic Proficiency

Epsilon Camp requires the following to be considered for the camp:

COMPREHENSIVE IQ TEST REPORT OR INDIVIDUAL Achievement Test Report

For more information on accepted test results and benchmarks, see below.

and

Professional Recommendation FORM

Recommendation form completed by a qualified math professional, such as a Math Circle leader, math professor, math teacher, school principal, or math mentor. The recommender should have a good understanding of Epsilon Camp, and should be able to speak to why Epsilon Camp would be a good fit for the applicant.  A follow-up phone interview may be requested.

See below for our IQ & Achievement test benchmark scores. If your child’s scores are slightly below these benchmarks and you have supplemental material to review, please do contact us with that information. Please note that the SCAT test is not accepted by Epsilon Camp as an individually administered achievment test.

We recognize that families may face financial and resource barriers to IQ/Achievement testing that is required as part of our application process. If you believe that Epsilon Camp would be a good fit for your child and are unable to provide test results, please contact Anne Chen at anne@epsiloncamp.org. We will work with you to determine goodness of fit, and will provide additional application support as needed.
